As part of the Lowe’s Veterans at Home Kickoff, a program tied to the Super Bowl, they have partnered with Rebuilding Together of Greater Green Bay to work on the home of Bill & Lois Yates. Bill is a Korean War veteran where he served on an Aircraft Carrier. The Lowe’s grant allowed us to hire a contractor to install insulation, house wrap and maintenance free siding onto their house. This work would have normally been done by Rebuilding Together volunteers but the pandemic has limited their ability to gather. In addition to the exterior work several plumbing issues were corrected including a new kitchen faucet and dishwasher.
